Under Water Inspection in Lieu of Dry-docking (UWILD) is an accepted alternative to dry-docking inspection surveys, this method includes sub-surface inspection utilizing divers and a top-side inspection utilizing rope access technicians.

Core-IRM Pte. Ltd. is approved by the prominent international classifications societies (IACS) to conduct these surveys; we have an excellent track record and have acquired a long list of very satisfied clients throughout the entire Asia Pacific region.

We have bases of operation throughout this region, with up to date, certified and conformant equipment kept in each of them, allowing us to mobilize to your location quickly and efficiently. We can also offer our diving services from dive support vessels. Through these avenues we can be sure and our clients can be certain that our UWILD service will be executed professionally, efficiently, and in line with any & all IACS requirements, ensuring we remain at the top of our game.

Our experienced divers will operate from self-contained dive spreads, using surface supplied air, and all our divers are qualified in line with the strict international requirements, which govern this technique in the offshore commercial diving industry.

Our Top side team, are all experts in the field of rope access and have formal qualifications from the internationally recognised body IRATA, our NDT technicians and operates are also qualified to the same level in the respective disciplines.


When we conduct our UWILD surveys, we work closely with the IACS attending surveyor, working methodically through the previously agreed scope of work.


It is because of this, that we have a good working relationship with the IACS bodies and attending surveyors.
Our reporting format is also in line with the relevant requirements, we supply:


  • Hardcopies of the visual & NDT report, endorsed by the attending surveyor
  • CD’s with live feed of the swim by visual inspections witnessed by the attending surveyor and also endorsed
  • 2 full copies of the endorsed report are made available to the IACS
  • 3 full copies of the endorsed report are made available to our client
